I'm scheduled to have bloodwork done for a variety of viruses and autoimmune disorders (including ANA, C-reactive protein, Anti DNA, etc.).  My doctor is 90% sure it's Fibro, but I am having the works done to rule some other problems out.
I had a steroid shot today for severe allergies and realized that some of these disorders are treated with steroids so I'm concerned it may interfere with the bloodwork tomorrow.  I plan on telling the nurse, but (because so many of you have been through so much testing and deal with this on a daily basis) do any of you know if this could cause a problem with interfering with the testing?
Thanks so much!

I'd call your doctor's office and ask them before you go for the labwork.  That would be the safest bet.  Steroids settle down inflammation so I would guess that it possibly could interfere with a true reading.  I'm just guessing here.  That's why I think you should ask your doctor.
