It's the middle of the week and time for a bit of day dreaming. Right up our alley! tongue Let's consider that money isn't a huge problem and that we're feeling pretty good...what vacations would you most like to take in the next five years?

For me vacation is pulling a trailer and all about rest and no worry, getting away from the phone and household responsibilities. Hubby and I have talked about trying to see as many national parks as possible/reasonable. So in the next 5 years I'd like to do Crater Lake in Oregon, Glacier National Park in Montana, John Day Fossil Beds National Monument in Oregon, Dinosaur National Monument in Utah/Colorado, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Saw it from the south rim but the north is a bit more isolated and I want to get there on our 20th anniversary.

Where would you like to go on vacation over the next 5 years?

My husband has always wanted to go to Hawaii...but I would be happy with anyplace warm and sunny for a week in the middle of winter. He also plays in a pool league and there's a big tournament every year in Las Vegas, I think that would be an interesting vacation, lots to see :)

Negril, Jamaica! My hubby and I did our honeymoon there and have been back twice.
It's my idea of paradise, beautiful and laid back!

First Hawaii, since I've dreamed about it since I was a kid. Then Europe, especially England and the south of France and Italy. I want to see those rolling hills of lavender!

I would like to go to some place with a beautiful beach. I would want to spend a couple of weeks with no worries, no responsibilities. Just me, my hubby, and my son just having fun and spending some relaxing quality time together. I would like to stay in a really nice hotel with a pool and hot tub that is right on the beach so I could walk along the beach and watch the sun set. We wouldn't tell anyone where we were going, we would turn the cell off for periods at a time, and just relax. *sigh* I need a vacation.

I have always wanted to take a cruise to Alaska. I have heard that it's just beautiful. Weather isn't a problem since I'm hot all of the time! smilewinkgrin

I think I would definitely love to tour Western Europe: England, France, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland. I've always wanted to take "The Sound of Music" tour in Austria.

I would also love to spend some time at Disney World, visit Hawaii, and tour the Eastern coastline of the U.S.

A cruise to Alaska sounds nice, I've never been on a cruise. I would also like to go to England, Denmark, and a few other countries. I would love to go back to Canada and of course back to Ghana and Burkina Faso in Africa to see my compassion kids that I sponsor. I've always wanted to do a safari over there too.
