Well here I am again sitting at work filling in time we knock off in two hours.
I have a major gripe today I went to see my Doctor on Thursday morning to get my flu shot plus meds.
What a waste of time I am looking for a new Doctor since we started to go into winter mu pain levels have gone through the roof. But will she give me pain killers NO why you ask? Because she will only give me the meds I had on me when my old doc shut up shop. Now instead  off getting my records she just says No.
Hopefully theDoctors who have replaced my old one have improved as there are a few drugs I need to get replaced how she can just say no when I have been taking these drugs on and off for years. And I mean on and off this will be the first painkillers I have got in almost 12 months. So why shut the gate on me.
The flu injection well now that is a sore subject with me.Every year I get the injection in April it never worries me. I had the swine flu injection not long after they came out.
This year for some  unknown reason they have decided to combine the two, they have clinics for the swine flu injections by themselves. Now because they have combined them they have recalled a lot of the injections because they are making people VERY VERY sick. They think it may off killed on two year old girl.Because it is at least another month before any injections are released by htat time it may be too late. The flu is going around here now.
On a much lighter note next Friday too Sunday DH and I are off to a resort on the coast five star and it is not costing us a cent, meals included. I admit I need the break. Why is it free my husband won the 3days 2 nights stay at a work funtion. The joys of volenteering in the tourist industry.

Kathy, I'm hoping your new doctor will be able to provide you with something to ease your
pain. Do what you can to keep your stress down. You know how that can add to the pain
factor. In the meantime, think of how much fun you are going to have at the resort. I hope
you and hubby have a wonderful time!

When you look for a new doctor, make sure that they believe in fibromyalgia and that they do pain management. I think that way you will be able to narrow it down easier as to which one you want to see. Let them know that you were once on pain medications and that you would like to continue it. Don't even tell them about this last doctor if you don't have to. Being that she wont give you anything.

I hope that you get some relief soon.

Hugs, Karen
