Saturday Koffee Klatch time~~

Happy Saturday to all~~

I think we all could use some time this weekend to do something just for us. Anything from treating yourself to a shopping trip or buying yourself a treat to relaxing for an hour or two reading a book you want to dive into. This is not selfish, it's treating ourselves good like everyone should do once in a while.

So, here's the plan. Grab a scrap of paper or just write your thoughts here since you can refer back to them and the forum won't lose Write down 3 things you plan on doing just for YOU this weekend. If you like, post the list on the refrigerator next to those appointment cards, pictures from kids and sticky notes. Let others in the home know what the list is about if you like or you can just keep in here and we won't tell BUT you have to do what's on your list. Well, at least some of it. We all know that life happens when we are making plans so we'll be happy if we accomplish one of our treats for ourselves.

Here's my list...3 things I will do just for me this weekend are:

1) Read some of the books I brought home from the library on Wednesday. These are mainly picture books on quilting them!

2) Take a long, hot soaking shower until I feel like getting out or the hot water runs out. the warm water.

3) I am going to take some extra computer time to work on some photographs. I have been learning Photoshop Elements and trying to use it for digital scrapbooking. Then I will be printing them for gifts. I love working on this but always get interrupted or have to work on it late and night when I'm tired. But this weekend I'm going to take 2-3 hours to just play with the pictures.

Hmmmm, I like this idea.

1.) Not answer the phone.

2.) Go buy this book I want so badly I'm gnashing my teeth for it.

3.) Remind my body how to eat three to five small meals a day, or try too. The Crohns isn't letting me eat dernit.

It is raining cats and dogs here in Kentucky this morning and supposed to rain all weekend.  So It couldn't be a better day to treat myself.
1st.  I'm sitting here at my pc drinking hot coffee with French Vanilla and relaxing, enjoying my Saturday morning.
2nd. I'm going to take a long hot bubble bath.
3rd. Today is the day I'm going to color my hair.  Even though it's sort of a task, it makes me feel better to get it colored again.

1. Take myself out to breakfast

2. Push mow for 3-5 hours if I hold up

3. Take a long hot shower to get all the grass off me then chill for the rest of the day

1. Get my hearing tested

2. Put up my new, room-darkening curtains in my bedroom so (hopefully) I won't wake up with the birds - actually, my husband has to do the putting-up part

3. Glory in Spring leafing out all around me and refuse to worry about how our own personal yard looks and what "should" be getting done that's not
  Diagnosed: Fibromyalgia, Meniere's, elevated liver enzymes, skin grafting on back, arthritis, scoliosis,   lumbar disc damage, sciatica, IBS, migraine headaches, tachycardia, skin cancer surgeries on face
    Meds: Nortriptyline, Clonazepam, Darvocet as needed
    Multivitamins, l-lysine, probiotics, magnesium, malic acid, calcium + vit. D, vit. C
    Chiropractic adjustments
Be yourself.  Everyone else is already taken.

This thread just made me realize that I have to take some "ME" time. I honestly can't come up with three things that I could plan to do for myself. But after reading what all of you wrote, I realized that I must take time to do that. I will take my regular walk, I need to color my hair, but don't have anything to do it with and Southern Lady, I drink hazelnut in my coffee, but love french vanilla.
