I guess I'm lucky in that I don't have to deal with a lot of pain - but oh those other symptoms. Most sites I have tried concentrate on dealing with pain but make no mention of other symptoms. Does anyone have any suggestions for dealing with these symptoms?
Irritable bladder, fibro fog, tiredness, non-cardiac chest pain, acid reflux, shortness of breath, numbness and tingling sensations, nasal congestion, difficulty focusing eyes, profuse sweating.

I presently take Imovane & Flexeril at bedtime so I get decent sleep. I find if I don't get enough sleep my symptoms worsen especially the fibro fog.

Any help appreciated.

I guess just mainly trying to limit stress, and as you said, sleep. For me the pain is overwhelmingly the worst part, so that's what gets the attention. Nasal washes for the stuffiness, trying to breathe more deeply, eating well, just commonsense stuff.

Hi Fed up,

Welcome to the HealingWell Fibromyalgia forum. I am so happy that you have joined us. My problem is pain but mostly fatigue. I can handle the pain. It seems easy for me to push it into the back ground.

For the fatigue, I take adderall. It helps me to concentrate also. But mostly gives me the energy to stay up during the day. I would sleep all day if I didn't have it. I also take malic acid/magnesium. And vitamin D3 for pain and fatigue and they help too. There is a thread, the second one on the forum, called fibro101. You will read about the malic acid and many other interesting topics. So if you get a chance, check it out. There is a lot of information on it and I think you would learn a lot about how all of us cope with this dreaded disorder.

I hope that you continue to post. And I hope that you feel better. Take care,

Hugs, Karen
