Any of you experience days where you're irritable to the point of exhaustion.  There is no ryhme or reason to any of it.  You are just irritable and everything and anything keeps you that way.  Last night I should have known something was creeping in.  I just had this "feeling" but couldn't put my finger on it.  This morning....well........everything is irritating me!
I can't stand days like this.

it's a new day

Yes, you are not alone.  I become irritable for no reason at all and nothing seems to help.
If I can I just go to bed.  I don't know what to tell you, other than "this too shall pass".
You are not alone.  Don't get down on yourself.
Lots of love

I just went through four days of that. Irritable and tired. I thought that it might be menopause. Could be pms, I am at that stage, sometimes I cycle and sometimes I don't. Either way it was horrible. Glad that it is over.

Hugs, Karen

Oh yeah...I definitely have days like that!!!! I tell my husband I'm gruntled and need dis-gruntling....it's just an awful feeling, isn't it. I usually drown it out with ice cream!

Seriously, I do hope you're "back to normal" soon. This never-ending cycle of pain, etc. really wears on the soul.

Conditions: Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pelvic Pain, Femoralacetabular Impingement (CAM and Pincer), Reynauds, IBS, Interstitial Cystitis, Surgical Adhesions, Ophthalmic Migraines, Severe Hot Flashes (both Surgical Menopause and medication related), plus physically unable to vomit due to the Nissen, and I have extremely tiny veins with a lot of scar tissue...a joy when it comes to having to give blood or get an IV started

Surgeries: Appendix, Uterus, Nissen Fundoplication for GERD, Left Ovary, Gallbladder, Right Ovary, TVT

Medications: Oxycontin, Cesamet, Tramacet, Cymbalta, Flexeril and Clonidine plus Laxaday, Vitamin D and a Multi-Vitamin daily

Oh yes, I know the irritability well.  Alot of times for me I think it's hormones but I know alot of times it's flat out being tired of dealing with the pain too.  Hang in there and know you are not alone.  Soft hugs!

I've been crabby lately and I know what is causing it... pain and lack of sleep! Just came
back from seeing my rheumy and he upped my methotrexate(oral chemo) that I take
for my MCTD. My fibro has been super active and all the soft tissue on my body feels as
if it has been pounded with sledge hammer and put into a vise and crushed.

I know this will pass, but it sure hard being pleasant when the pain seems intolerable. In
the meantime I'm practicing my deep breathing and using all my bedbuddies.

Wishing smiles and better days for all of us!

Hugs, Robin

That's my point exactly! The more irritable I get, the worse the pain is!

Today is not a good day. I hope I'm not like this tomorrow. I have a 3 hour MRI scheduled at 7:45 AM! UGH!

Ugh indeed! I hope at least they give you some breaks in there. 3 hours is way too long to be in one position!! What are they MRIing?

When I'm irritable it's usually also when I'm exhausted, shaky, nauseous and have a sore throat and my muscles are so tight I can't sleep. They seem to go together. Like the time I actually tried to make my house presentable for an old friend who was coming from out of town. Never again.
