I know we've discussed this before - the barometric pressure and how much it affects us... there is a storm coming in from the west and it's not unusual but man, my head is pounding. I can't believe what I feel like and the weather isn't suppose to be here for another 12 hours or so.
Any tips on what to do with my head? I'm trying to work and it's almost impossible mad
thanks so much

My daughter taught me this trick and it often works, especially when you awaken with a splitting headache. Get a 2 liter soda from the fridge and lay down on your bed with the soda under the base of your skull (not under your neck, but just above that). You will need to have a pillow above that to support your head so you are just lightly resting on the soda bottle. The cold of the pop will cause some vasoconstriction and often can stop a headache in its tracks. Worth a try. Safe, painless and free! Hope this helps.

Hi Miriam!

I have one of those masks that you freeze...they are filled with gel...and when I get a headache like that, it helps.  I know what you mean about the barametric pressure.  It snowed here on Saturday and Sunday after being in the 80's the week before.  I felt it coming on Thursday!

The barametric pressure is crazy allover. I took some excederin this morning and made
some peppermint tea and that has helped some. Hope you are feeling better soon!

Hi Miriam,
Hope you are feeling better and 'the boys' have calmed down. I think there is a lot of that 'head ready to explode' feeling going on now. Right now, if it doesn't hurt, I don't own it. Yep, I think the weather is behind this all over mess going on right now.
I'm going to try some tea, see if it helps. I tried the Tylenol, so far, nothing. I don't know if I'm brave enough for anything cold touching my body. The cold wind and the chill have been more than enough cold for me.
Hope tomorrow is a better day for all of us.
God bless.  Alice.
