Hello all.  I had to vent a bit.  Feeling pretty bad today.  Feel achy and tight all over, sinuses are absolutely driving me nuts and making me feel off balance, irritable bowel acting up and just in general feel like crying.  I know you all understand and I hope I don't sound too whiny but darn it, I feel like whining a little today.  Anyway, thanks for listening and I hope all of you are well and pain free.

Hi Libby,

I am sorry that you are having a bad day. It is cold and rainy here today so I understand what you feel. I ache all over. Haven't felt that way in a long time. But I guess sooner or later it catches up with us. I think I will go to bed with my bed buddy. Haven't used that in a long time either. It will feel good on my shoulders.

Watching a baseball game, we are winning so far. Trying to do what I can to take my mind off of the pain. Take care, I hope that you feel better soon. Happy venting. We all need to sometimes.

Hugs, Karen

Hi Libby, sorry you are hurting today. My sinuses have been giving me a bad time too,
a combination of allergies and crummy weather. Peppermint tea helps me relax and opens
my sinuses. I've been drinking alot of it lately. My bedbuddy is in the microwave more than
anything, lol. Hope you are feeling better soon!

You poor thing - we can all relate!

If you have a vaporizor - set it up and put some lavender oil in the little well - that's great for sinuses.

Take care!

Hi Libby,

I am sorry you are feeling extra ooky right now. It's bad enough to deal with chronic pain, but when you add in feeling sick on top of things, it's too much to handle sometimes. I had a good cry on the couch yesterday at my own little pity party as it's been a discouraging week for me.

if possible, perhaps a soak in a bubble bath and a hot cuppa tea (or glass of wine if you're able) will help to take the edge off and allow you to relax a bit. Even just knowing that there are folks here cheering you on is a good thing...and I hope that helps you a bit.

Conditions: Fibromyalgia, Myofascial Pain, Chronic Pelvic Pain (with permanent muscle damage), Femoralacetabular Impingement (CAM and Pincer), Reynauds, IBS, Surgical Adhesions, Ophthalmic Migraines, Severe Hot Flashes (both Surgical Menopause and medication related), plus physically unable to vomit due to the Nissen, and I have extremely tiny veins with a lot of scar tissue...a joy when it comes to having to give blood or get an IV started

Surgeries: Appendix, Uterus, Nissen Fundoplication for GERD, Left Ovary, Gallbladder, Right Ovary, TVT

Medications: Oxycontin, Cesamet, Tramacet, Cymbalta, Flexeril and Clonidine plus Laxaday, Vitamin D and a Multi-Vitamin daily

Libby, when this happens to me, I get in a hot shower and cry my eyes out.  It helps release all the tension and I can always say I got soap in my eyes.  smilewinkgrin    Venting is good and crying is good, too.  Sometimes that's just what the "doctor" ordered.
I'm glad you are feeling better.
