confused  Alright I went to see my doctor today and he has given me a new med to help me sleep now I have googled it and I really don't understand why he has given it too me Trifluoperazine Hydrochloride. Has anyone else ever tried it? He tells me if I get a rash to stop taking them straight away. When don't I have a rash I asked my Dh. My body is stressed well that would be from the constant pain and lack off sleep wouldn't it I asked? The constant headackes
He was helpful don't get me wrong and he gave me painkillers theyare too last me a week then go back to him too see if the new meds have worked or not. I am supppering from depression, again that I know he wants to see how I am in a week with sleep and if I am no better we will change my antideppression meds.
So the doc was maybe not great today but at least good. But I stand up for what is going on.

Hmmm, everything I'm reading about it says it's for Schizophrenia and Anxiety.

Maybe he feels your sleeplessness is because of anxiety. I sure hope it helps you though.

Good luck, Kathy. I've never heard of that, either. But the 2 things I take regularly for fibro aren't really for fibro either, they're for seizures or depression....meds!!
Diagnosed: Fibromyalgia, possible Meniere's, elevated liver enzymes, skin grafting on back, arthritis, scoliosis, lumbar disc damage, sciatica, IBS, migraine headaches, tachycardia, skin cancer surgeries on face
Meds: Nortriptyline, Clonazepam, Darvocet as needed
Multivitamins, l-lysine, probiotics, magnesium, malic acid, calcium + vit. D, vit. C
    Chiropractic adjustments
Be yourself.  Everyone else is already taken.
