Thanks everyone. Thankfully, (that's kind of a weird way to put it) I've had so many that the tubes from my kidneys are stretched out, so most
of the time it is just uncomfortable (sometimes, intensely so, though).
Sherrine, I have had a gazillion tests, but there is no real answer as to why I get them, genetics most likely. I just try to drink lots of water and stay away from certain dietary items.
It's just a waiting game. I've had to have one removed before (not pleasant), so that is always in the back of my mind when one is taking a long time to "see the light of day." I think worrying about
it not passing is sometimes worse than the pain itself.
