Well I  can not remember if I posted this or not so I will tell the true story this time as my son told me, My DH got it all messed up.

My wonderful DIL went camping last weekend with friends, she fell over a tent peg and broke her arm.

After waiting in the ER for hours they xrayed her arm yes 2 bones broken, also her elbow disloacted. My husband took her to the LARGE regional hospital. As our son was very upset and blamed himself for her fall. This was at 6am, they needed to be at the hospital before 7 so they could put her straight into surgery.

When they arrived there was no bed for her, so after 6 hours they found a bed then took her to operate on her arm and put her elbow back in. There was one major problem when they tried o move her elbow  the bones shattered. So now they have to wait for Thursday when they are going to do a elbow replace bent or something along those lives.

Please keep her in your prayers

Kathy...Oh that sounds so painful. Hopefully the surgery was a sucess and your
DIL 's arm and elbow will mend nicely. Your son must know it was an accident.
I hope he doesn't continue to feel guilty about it. Prayers on the way!!!

Wow Kathy that sounds so painful, she will definitely be in my prayers. What a long time to have to wait for the surgery to fix it. I hope they keep her medicated well.

Wow it seems like the simple falls create the most damage. Had a lady at work that slid on the dew grass in her yard one morning and twisted her ankle.. seems it broke in three places.

I sure hope they are relieving the pain while she sits and waits.. Seems like they would jump faster on something like this. My thoughts are with you and your family.

That does sound painful! The poor girl. I hope the repair and healing will go quickly and smoothly from here forward. Your poor son, too - I hope he doesn't blame himself any more. Accidents are accidents.
