Sunday is a wonderful day to think of getting away from out troubles so today we're going to take a virtual trip. What landmark in the world would you like to see one day? Maybe you'd like to see the Grand Canyon! How about the Pyramids of Giza? Or maybe your adventurous side wants to canoe the fjords of Norway. Today you can travel as little or as much as you like because on our trip there's no pain, you are there in an instant and the trip is on! So what place is somewhere you've longed to go?

I have a list of a few places I'd love to visit. Number 1 for me is an entire state...Alaska! But since it's not May (and the mosquitoes are the size of small dogs this time of year) I think I'll go on to #2. I would love to visit Ireland. The cities aren't of interest to me but I will rent a car and travel the back roads and wander through the countryside with a camera, a picnic and my best friend (hubby). The scenery there is so lovely and takes you back to more simple times. The stone fences and pastures of sheep are peaceful and so beautiful. Ya, it's a bit strange but that's where I'm going on our trip today.

Where would you love to go?

Hi Chutz, can I go with you to Ireland, and then maybe to Scotland, those are the two places I have dreamed about seeing since I was a teenager. Maybe I just read too many romantic novels based from there when I was young. LOL

Boy, oh, boy, how do you narrow down the possibilities? Well --- just lately I was watching a cooking show on PBS that comes out of one of the Scandinavian countries. It looked so appealing and comfortable during the summer time. Their summers appeal to me for their coolness - they have great architecture - beautiful waters. Maybe also the Orkney Islands off the north coast of Scotland. Then again with all my interest in goat's milk I've been reading about Swiss goats - and that country sounds gorgeous, too. Oh, heck, there are so many nifty places!
Why my username? It is real life nickname. I love chickens. Will have my flock of hens one day! :D .............. DX'd with Fibromyalgia, chronic hives, sensitivities and allergies, migraines with auras, tmj, and IBS. Not sure what else!

A Caribbean island-anyone of them will do- to lay in a hammack with a margarita in one hand, a cigerette in the other(don't shoot me) and a cabana boy fanning me witha palm leaf. Can I hitch a ride afterwards to Ireland with you? I've always wanted to go and explore those old castles there and in Scottland.

I just watched The Black Stallion AGAIN.  This is where I got my dream of riding a horse on the beach.  A nice quite island with people to saddle, brush, unsaddle and cool down would be my dream getaway.
I read all the books when I was a kid and have 5 newer one that I haven't touched yet.

I'd go to Southern France, Provence and whatever those other beautiful places are, where Van Gogh got so much of his inspiration. The fields of lavender, rolling hills, sunshine, the quaint houses....

...fibromyalgia, hearing loss, elevated liver enzymes, skin grafting (back), arthritis, scoliosis, lumbar disc damage, sciatica, IBS, migraines, tachycardia, cancer surgeries (face).......I take Nortriptyline & Clonopin daily, and Darvocet as needed
