sorry if this has been brought up, but didn't feel like looking through old posts.

I am having a very rough couple of days.

I've always had the light headedness and just general kinda not right feeling but lately it has gotten worse.
I no longer drive at night cause my neck gets so sore up the back of my head and I get light headed

but now it's more like this all the time for the past week

do any of you take anything specific for the light headed ness?

I see my doc this month and I've wrote down some things to go over with him

I just hate feeling this awful and not being able to do much.

sorry haven't replied to other posts but know I'm thinking of all and keeping all in my prayers

Hi Maria, I'm sorry you are feeling so bad. Could any of the meds you are taking
cause these symptoms? Give your doc a call and let him know of these symptoms
they could be related to a number of things. Hope you feel better and please
lkeep us posted. We care :)

I don't know what to say i also get a sore neck and headache diziness and sometimes the diziness can be helped by a med for vertigo. but mostly Gentle and supportive hugs and a prayer that this bad period will pass soon and you will feel better.

Hello. I'm on the improving end of a severe bout of light-headedness/dizziness that started in early July. It scared me enough that I went to the ER. After the work-up including a CT scan to rule out a brain tumor they decided that I had labyrinthitis, inflammation of the inner ear which can screw with your balance and cause dizziness, etc. They gave me a script for basically dramamine less drowsy formula and sent me on my merry way. My pcp agreed with the ER dr and thought it was allergy related and told me to keep taking my scripts for that. And she gave me more dramamine and antibiotics in case it got worse. It did get worse including the feeling that my face was so clogged up that it felt like it was going to explode so my other dr asked me to stop the allergy meds and try herbal supplements instead. He believes it is more related to my sinuses. The dizziness has been very minimal since being off the scripts and on the herbals and the sinus issue is improving also. Sooo I guess the point to my story is that if you are prone to allergies/sinus trouble that may be an underlying cause to have checked out. I really hope you are feeling better very soon because I know just how you feel, literally. Be careful out there, Lisa
If I can laugh at it, I can live with it.

Thank you all for the replies and feedback.

I am feeling better, not as bad. Still had the unsteadiness but am dealing with it.

Will definately discuss with doctor when I go in for my check up.

Don't think about what you used to be able to do............Think about what you DID do today !
