Hello everyone! its been a really long time since I've been here. I'm doing fine, gotten busy with work and building my own non-profit. It's very exciting work! Its scary as can be but I am happy. Took a long trip downunder this summer and did very well. My stamina is growing all the time and I am stronger than ever. I do, however, have a strange challenge. I refilled my Cymbalta 5 days ago; I took one pill, and promptly LOST the bottle. I can't find it and I can't refill it. SO while I hunt for samples, I am in withdrawal and feeling really strange. Is there anything you can recommend or suggest I do in the meantime? Is withdrawal BAD, or just feel bad? Is it dangerous, or just icky while I detox? I need some straight talk confused . I hope everyone is doing ok and I plan to catch up with everyone. Its been too long and I need this forum.

You will just feel badly while your brain recalibrates.  Would your doctor give you samples to tide you over?  He/she should know how nasty w/d can be and not expect you to's not a controlled substance to my knowledge.

It's pretty yucky, I remember going "cold turkey" when I stopped taking Cymbalta, everytime I moved my head to quick, I would hear this ringing sound and get dizzy as all get out. Lasted for a little over 2 weeks. I am really sorry that you lost your medication. Can you doctor at least give you more samples while you wait for your new script? Or even something else to take instead???
IDK...just some random thoughts.

Hi Sera just wanted to say welcome back to the family, and its nice to meet you. I tried Cymbalta once but couldn't take it because it made me to tired. I am sorry you have lost yours though and I think the others are right in calling your doctor to see about samples until you can refill yours. I think us fibromites would lose our heads if they werent attached to our bodies. lol I hope to get to know you better soon.
