Like music? Are there some songs that really call to you or have special meaning? What is one song or album that you’ve listened to over and over again that has brought you comfort or joy?

For me it's one song...and it's been in the past 19 years that I've listened to it. My hubby shared it with me when he realize during our dating days that things were turning from fun to serious. It's by the Moody Blues and it's called "I know You're out there Somewhere". We even had it played at our wedding. You have to remember that when we married he was a 43 year old bachelor and was waiting for the right 'one' to come along. I'm glad I was it.

Here's a few of the lyrics that I love...

./~From the words that I remember
From my childhood still are true
That there's none so blind
As those who will not see
And to those who lack the courage
And say it's dangerous to try
Well they just don't know
That love eternal will not be denied

Yes I know it's going to happen
I can feel you getting near
And soon we'll be returning
To the fountain of our youth
And if you wake up wondering
In the darkness I'll be there
My arms will close around you
And protect you with the truth

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere ...../~

Is there some song or album you love to listen to?

Let see
For me it would be
"Always & Forever" by Heatwave
This is such a good song for me about my life and relationships, finding my hubby who is wonderful to me.
"No More Rain" by Angie Stone---
(listed below)
My sunshine has come
And I'm all cried out
And there's no more rain in this cloud

My sunshine has come
And I'm all cried out
And there's no more rain in this cloud
There's no hiding place
When someone has hurt you
It's written on your face, and it reads
"Broken spirit, lost and confused"
"Empty, scared, used and abused, a fool"
Oh, ain't it funny that the way you feel
Shows on your face
(It's written all over your face, yeah)
And the smile you used to wear
Seems a little bit out of place
(Tracks of your tears)
People oh, hold on
In time it gets a little better, whoa
LOL, I will be singing this now all day!!!

I love music all kinds. I like country the best. I like the more upbeat songs, but I also like the others. I think the song that means alot to me is This home of mine. Where she goes to the house she grew up in.

I always loved my first record player at age 5  and my first transiter
radio at 12... slept with it under my pillow.
The year was 1964, I was 12...I loved the favorite song Just One Look
Graham Nash played in the Hollies and later played with Crosby, Stills, Nash and
Young....their Album, Deja Vu came out in 1970 and I loved...Our House.
Both the songs make happy and describe life with hubby.
Hugs, Robin wink

This is a hard question! Music is such a big part of my life, I can't imagine living without it (lousy hearing and all.) For the past 15 years or so, I've been listening to Mary Chapin Carpenter a lot. I can relate to her lyrics so much, and her voice is soothing (my husband thinks she's a downer, but - to each his own!) A few I especially like are "Grand Central Station," "Girls Like Me," and "Closer and Closer Apart":

Over and over and over again, the world only spins one way.
The past is a distant flicker by now, and a lesson for another day.

Now my sad little boat floats on out to sea and
You're almost out of sight.
I'll remember you, please don't forget me, I whisper with all my might.

All I can do is turn now to you,
Holding my hand to my heart,
All that I know is I'm watching us grow
Closer and closer apart

I absolutely love music. I jokingly say I like anything from Kenny G to Kid Rock. The song that has been a huge factor in my life since it came out in 2003 (I think) "The Reason" by Hoobastank. It came out during a very traumatic time in our life...when big changes needed to happen. I felt like it was written just for us. Here are the lyrics.

I'm not a perfect person
There's many things I wish I didn't do
But I continue learning
I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go
That I just want you to know

I've found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is you

I'm sorry that I hurt you
It's something I must live with everyday
And all the pain I put you through
I wish that I could take it all away
And be the one who catches all your tears
Thats why i need you to hear

I've found a resaon for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is You [x4]

I'm not a perfect person
I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go
That I just want you to know

I've found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is you

I've found a reason to show
A side of me you didn't know
A reason for all that I do
And the reason is you
Trying to keep my focus...

Fibro, deg/bulg discs in neck, rotator cuff tear, exteme nerve pain in hands after carpal tunnel on both, multiple foot surgeries with pain still, IBS, tension headaches, (Lap band)

Savella, MS contin, Vicoden, claritin, prilosec, flonase, vitamins, calcium
