My daughter who is 14 so this makes this even more funnier.......
We have a storm coming in, she goes can I use the washer and dryer if we have no power.... rolleyes
Her older brother cracks up and goes is it plugged in the wall....haa haa
Here is another one my older son, he was 16 at the time and we were at Wal-Mart where they had a stamp machine.  I gave him $4 dollars and tell him to buy stamps, I kinda raise my kids on the frugal side.  Well he was gone for awhile and he comes to check out with handfuls of 1 and 2 cent stamps, I was laughing so hard I had to cross my legs.
Feel free to share, I love stories about kids.

Years ago I was in a very HOT discount store with my 7 year old  twins and my mother.  I gave them money to buy us all drinks from the machine, as we were sweating like pigs.  The little darlings returned with four steaming hot cups of tea.  I guess I'm lucky they didn't burn themselves...and now that I am writing this I am thinking I would probably be arrested in this day and age for allowing the two of them to get that far away from me.  Hmmm.
My husband was explaining to one of the twins that he was grilling steak with a 'meat fork.'  When we were all seated, one of the twins got up and retrieved the fork and proceeding to eat with it.  Makes sense, huh?  On the same note...a Norelco is for whiskers, as my husband explained.  So the precious angel took the razor and shaved all the whiskers off our dog.

Last Sunday morning my 5 y/o son comes into the living room, having just woken up, and said to my husband "Daddy, your game sounds woke me up last night. Don't you feel bad about being beaten up by a girl who screams "Oh God yes!"?" My husband plays World of Warcraft, but wears headphones fortunately our son didn't stop to think about that.

Any idiot can face a crisis - it's day to day living that wears you out.

My son was either 4 or 5, and he came out of the bathroom, and had Fixodent all over his tongue. He thought it was toothpaste! The look on his face was priceless. tongue

My 4 year old grandson Calen was at the zoo with his mom and his uncle (my daughter and my son) and his uncle's girlfriend. They were walking past a pond and Calen spotted the ducks, so he went over to see them.

He spotted one colourful male and said "Hi Duck". The duck of course did nothing, so Calen says "Hi Duck" again, this time a bit louder. Still nothing from the duck, so Calen stomps up to the duck, and in the loudest voice possible, yells "HEY DUCK...I'M TALKING TO YOU...YES, YOU!" and he points to the duck in indignation, then turns to his uncle and says "that duck is as deaf as a duck" and walks away.

I love that boy!!
