Time for some fun and imagination. Imagine that you are making a film that's the story of your life. It's time to cast the part of YOU for the movie. Choosing from actors/actresses either living or gone, whom would you choose to play you? And what kind of movie is it? A documentary, musical, mystery, science fiction, western, B-Movie, or maybe comedy? It's your movie and your choices.

For me I think this would have to be a comedy or I'd go nuts trying to cast it. The title of my movie would be "Ho-Hum ~ Hilarious". With me it's all or nothing. Life is either wild or boring. And in the starring role would be Lucille Ball! tongue Even though she was known for her red hair it came from a bottle. (had to do some research on that one.) I do think Lucy would be fantastic at the comedy but it will stretch her talents for her to enjoy the boring side of

So who will play you in the movie of your life?

What a great topic! And a tough one. Mine would have to be a drama, since I tend to take things fairly seriously (with some songs thrown in.) As for who would play me, I don't know....(it's funny this should come up now, because last night in the shower I was wondering - if our Fibro family ever actually got together in person, would you all be like I picture you??) No actress really reminds me of me! I guess maybe Emma Thompson would do, faking an American accent, of course...

...fibromyalgia, hearing loss, elevated liver enzymes, skin grafting (back), arthritis, scoliosis, lumbar disc damage, sciatica, IBS, migraines, tachycardia, cancer surgeries (face).......I take Nortriptyline & Clonopin daily, and Darvocet as needed

Debbie, it's funny because I have visuals of the fibro family too and often
wondered how close my picture of all of you is.

My movie would be a combination, of comedy and drama. It would be called
Hang On For Dear Life...a rollercoaster ride of humor, excitement, sadness
and fun.

I would want Goldie Hawn to play me... because she can play a good ditz.

Oh, I love this! Believe it or not I would have to say that my movie would most definatley be a comedy and the actress to play me would have to be Estelle Getty! I absolutely love and miss her! I am an extremely short, loud, and a very fiery Italian who loves to make homemade pasta with meatballs...when I can stand that I'm only 33 and not as old as her, but I would have to say she would play crazy ole me the best!!

I gotta say I am so glad that I joined here! I really am enjoying sharing things with my new "family" and love to read all about you guys, too!

Hahaha...I am thinking Kathy Bates. She does a great job with all the crazy aspects...from down right over the edge nutzo. All of which are me, depending on the It would have to be called "Never let 'em see you sweat!"
Trying to keep my focus...

Fibro, deg/bulg discs in neck, rotator cuff tear, exteme nerve pain in hands after carpal tunnel on both, multiple foot surgeries with pain still, IBS, tension headaches, (Lap band)

Savella, MS contin, Vicoden, claritin, prilosec, flonase, vitamins, calcium

I would most likely cast Miley Cirus for the role of me. I think the movie would be called either "Rantings of a Strange Mind" or "Take a Walk in my Shoes". It's hard to pick a particular genre for my movie. A comedy definitely, but also a tragedy. If that makes any sense.
Great topic for today, Mom.
