Wow, I'm so emotional lately, I don't know if it is being fed up with the pain, but I am almost in tears all day today.  I read posts, and I'm almost in tears.  open a door, tears.  I've had 3 people in my office today tell me that I really don't look well.  One man said to me "You don't look very mobile Krista"  Is it that obvious???  If my co-workers see it, why don't these darn doctors do something?!  Another one of my co-workers has fibro as well and we had a lengthy discussion this morning.  Interesting, her mother has lupus and osteo-arthritis as well.
Perhaps a walk will make me feel better before I start my afternoon...the sun is out at least!
Take care everyone!

Krista, you need to keep moving with fibro.  Otherwise you will be stiff as a board and have more pain.  There are some good gentle stretching exercises on Fibro 101 that you can do sitting down so you could do these periodically at work.  Also, try to get up and walk for a few minutes...about evey half hour.  That could help you too.
Please try not to let this illness get to you.  You need to be in control.  You are a strong person and can do this.  Keep working at finding what will help you control the pain and keep living your life.  A good cry does help, too.  I usually will get in the shower, cry my eyes out, and then my daughter thinks I got soap in my eyes!  smilewinkgrin    But it does help to release tension, too.  So, take deep breaths and know you will get a handle on this illness.  Fibro will NOT beat you!

Im sorry you are in so much pain Krista, I can definitely relate lately because with the cancer I am getting weak which is causing me to flare up in my lower back. My attitude is this too shall pass. For me once the chemo is over finally I will be able to get back on track. I hope you find something that helps you soon.
