I've had a constant pain behind my right for 2 days now. It's a pin point spot, kinda feels like it's throbbing or pulsating. Anyone have an opinion as to whether or not I should be concerned? Never had before. Nothing else hurts. Been on cymbalta for a couple weeks now.
Also, anyone on cymbalta, what do you take for breakthrough pain? I don't have an option now. Don't really need it but thought I should know incase I do. Thanks :-)!

Do you have any sinus problems? Sometimes my eyes ache when my sinuses are bothering me. We have had the weather for that though recently. A lot of dampness.

If it continues, I would contact the doctor incase it is something to be concerned with.

Take care,

Hugs, Karen

Hi Mrs Mike!

YES! Definitely get someone to check that out. This could be in the category of migraine headaches, like cluster headaches or a myriad of other reasons but when it comes to your eyes and your brain behind them, don't take any chances. It's much better to know what you are dealing with than wonder.

Please keep in touch, OK?

Don't mess around with this.  Not everything is caused by fibro or medication.  Please get this checked out.  Okay?  Let us know what you find out because we really do care about you.

Of course, Mrs. Mike!  Weekends and holidays are when problems ALWAYS happen!

I'm glad you are getting it checked out.  It probably isn't anything to worry about but you never know.  Let us know what the doctor says, okay?

I sure will. I should mention that I have had a sinus infection (november 2008) and finally had surgery in February 2009. That sinus infection had every sinus cavity in my head completely filled. I was so full they couldn't see it on xrays. I guess the point I am making, I know this isn't sinuses..lol. And I've had several migraines in my life and none ever felt like this. I don't think I could handle sitting in an ER tonight so I think I'll look for an urgent care tomorrow morning.

On a funny note, my daughter knows I am not feeling well (actually don't feel bad at all except for pin point pain in my eye darn it!!) but she knew I didn't want to cook dinner so she made me spaghetti and meatballs with her playdoh!! She's a nut. Poor thing has had to do so much growing up because of this darn crap!

Good news is, it was just a weird tension headache. Right after I last posted yesterday, the muscles in the right side of my head tightened up all the way down the back of my head, into my neck. Used the heating pad and some massage and it worked itself out. I'm fine today. It was just weird how it was only on one side and in the same spot for 2 days before it moved around. Normally when I get tension headaches, it's all the way across the top of my head. Thanks all for your concern. I'm good as gold today!! (At least fool's gold :-D)
