Doggonit! I asked the boys to shoot me out of the cannon first, when no one else was looking, and ended up W A Y out in the ocean - on a yacht, to be exact! The nice people on the boat tried not to stare, but I was a sight, to be sure...mostly naked, smokin', smellin', and babbling incoherently about
Raphael and my pink jewel, (which didn't make it) and a flying elephant and all my friends in bandaides. They smiled a lot, kept their eyes on me and stepped on the gas to get me back to land, but by the time I found my way to Sherrine's, there wasn't a fancy fibromite to be seen and my heart sank.
I missed the party! The karaoke, the turkey, the wonderful conversations that happen when your brain is loosened up...all over. Sherrine must be passed out somewhere because even she's not out here.
I'm hoping I didn't also miss my ride home...although I can understand if you girls had to leave - maybe you're taking Fibroella for one last romp before you head back to reality. Otherwise, it's time to pull on the old Northern clothes (including turtleneck - Robin, you DO have an amazing memory!) and stick out my poor, smoke-charred thumb. I'll wait here by the mailbox for a few minutes just to be sure.
So sad I missed most of the fun - sounds like it was again the party of the year. Next time I'm not getting near a cannon.
