Hi, 4me, and welcome! I'm so glad you found us and joined our family. We have wonderful members who love to help one another and, as a bonus, really do care about each other, too! I think you will like it here.
I've had fibro for 24 years and I have to give you a big, but gentle, pat on the back for taking on two toddlers. That has to be hard. But, the activity might help some with the pain. I sure hope so. You can do fun things that don't require chasing after them. When my kids were small, I set up a child's table in the kitchen and had coloring books, paper, crayons and Playdough on it. They could sit there and have some fun activities and I wasn't chasing after them. Puzzles were great, too. They have really neat ones that are huge...big pieces, etc. So you will have plenty of quality time with them that you can do with fibro. I'm glad you have a nanny, too! She will be worth her weight in gold!
By the way, I'm very jealous of you. My children are all grown, in their 30's and no one has married yet. I want grandchildren so badly but nothing yet.
We all have times where we wish we could to this or that. I work at finding ways around fibro to do a lot of what I used to. Yep, I still have the pain but that's a "given". I try not to think about how things used to be and, thanks to fibro fog, I can't remember, either! So, I just look forward to each new day with anticipation and I usually have a good one!
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. Don't hesitate to ask questions because we are here to help you. Hope to hear more from you soon. Sorry you missed the party but there will be another one in six months! Get prepared!
God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
