It took me a long time to figure out I control my actions. I blamed others for making me angry or stressed. The way I react to situations has a big influence on how I feel.
I didn't learn this overnight...infact my health taught me a lot about life. I no longer worry as much...and I was the ultimate worrier, a regular nervous Nellie. In the past, if something was wrong...I always thought it had something to do with me. I was to blame.
We can only truly set expectations for ourselves and others are responsible for their own actions. Being true to ourselves is so important. I think many of us are peacemakers, we hate conflict and we want to fix things. We can only fix ourselves, others can only change themselves. Taking one day at a time is working for me.
Believing that change is possible and being open to it can give you true joy and feeling at peace with your self. Peace, my friends.
