Great topic, Robin...
What has fibro taught me about myself? Hmmm...I never thought I was particularly strong-willed or stubborn, but now I know I'm very much so. If I had any idea that I'm lazy, I don't anymore. I constantly have to put the breaks on. There are a million things I want to do. I'm SO MUCH a physical person - (yeah, good luck with that!) - and I'm married to someone who is not at all. So, guess what my house looks like! It ain't pretty. I have learned to transcend the physical - sort of!
I've always known that I was incredibly spacey and disorganized, to the point of being scary at times, and that is a constant challenge.
I've learned that I will move heaven and earth to help people or animals if I love them. I may not do it very efficiently or effectively, but I'll give it everything I've got. And I have learned that I do hold a grudge, although I don't believe in doing so and I know it's bad for me.
I'm a work in progress!
