I just got back some of my lab results today. I was diagnosed with fibro a year ago, and have joint pain, no swelling or redness. My rheumatiod factor came back elevated, was 24, normal 0-20. My b12 is low 179, but my folate is extremely high at 9.42. Thankfully my thyroid is ok. I am now wondering maybe after years of low b12 are my symptoms because of that. It can cause nerve damage, and alot of other symptoms. I don't know. My muscles are sore with tender spots. I am still waiting on a few other labs to come back...ANA I know of, and cbc, cmp, a few others.
Those of you that have RA, did your RA factor come back extremely elevated or just over normal? I do have the achy joints, esp. my shoulder and arm from holding purse.
Thanks for your input!
