Hi, Lissa, and welcome! Well, I guess you really don't know. I have a doctor who I completely trust and yet I won't take some of the stuff he suggests...like Lyrica and Savella. I've heard of more people having problems with it. But yet, there have been some on here that have been helped. I guess it's just a matter of choice for you.
I always research things. I also ask for generics for my medications. If they are generic, they have been on the market for over 20 years. Problems with the medications are usually discovered before then so I don't feel so much like a guinea pig. This is just my opinion and quite a few will not agree with me but this is exactly how I feel. I do have to take two meds that aren't generic....for osteoporosis and glaucoma....but I don't have a choice and I have to do something to help myself. Choices. Life is nothing but choices so read, get knowledge of what you are considering, and then make the best choice for you.
