No, all grains make me sick...rice was the last one I had to give up. First was wheat, rye, and barley, then a couple of years later I lost soy, then corn, nightshades, red meat, cruciferous veggies, and shellfish. When I was still having issues, the PA at my doc office adviced I try a teaspoon of vinegar every day, claiming it fixes what ails us. I got so sick. That's when I asked about
candida and she told me to try it, give it a month and see what happens. 3 weeks of candida die off, and now 1 year later, I am 95# thinner and doing much better as long as I stay away from my intolerant foods.
Now that my tummy is doing better, I am able to concentrate on the other things that ail me...like my fibro, chronic fatigue, and my small fiber sensory polyneuropathy. From everything I read, I am eating a good diet for fibro, I just need to try and get it under control. The rhuemy is doing a mess of testing to figure out which arthritis I am dealing with. We go from there.
