I am really concerend.
I have spasms that feel like pulling tugging sudden zaps of pull pull pull or tight tight?

Now the problem is I have this from top to bottom.
Meaning I have something pulling from top of my head to bottom of my feet.
It's Continous all day all over!!! I have trouble walkin as all my muscle are tight.
As u walk I get bouts of spasms here an there in legs like pinch pull. I am total tight head to toe. I can't sit I can't move right.
So if I pick up bag of grocery and put it down my arm and fingers will throw burst of twitching.
Little bit of walking and then I lay down my legs are going mental twothin spasmsing tightening, throbbin ache.
This is in my face throat every where. All day!!
How can this be!
I know you guys have it in back it neck but I am a ball of tight spasm!!
Then as bi muscle tighten I get non stop migrating spasms. Like finger o finger to toe to toe to palm of my hand to patches around butt to ribs to stomach.
I also get stabbing shooting nerve burning numbness pain.

I don't get it how can this be in my whole boy like poison just movin around. If I could show you I imagine a lot up christmass tree blinking that's how my spasms move. But in legs remain constant throbbing ache an pulling then it spits out twitching.

It feels like muscle pulling of bone!! Walk up and down stairs in hard as muscles wrappe around joint.

I hear people describe this in neck and back but not full body at the same time

Any suggestions.
Like my legs constant moving like worms Movig in and out up and down. Besides the twitching pulsating movement that u can see and feel.

I am so sorry to hear of your pain. I had muscle spasms much like you are describing and they moved everywhere! Even my ears! 6 years I fought with this. They started at about 10 in the morning and didn't stop until I fell exhausted asleep at 1 or 2 in the morning. The cure for me was Tramadol. I had tried muscle relaxers to no avail. Tramadol was like magic. I would take 50 mlg twice a day and all my spasms went away. Over time my muscles began to get good rest from what had been never ending spasms and I think they really healed. I am still on Tramadol though I am having to take more as I get accustom to it. I have NO side effects from this and it is one of the few meds I have ever tried that this is true. The First few weeks I had dizzies and some "drugged" feelings but they went away and it is been great for me. It doesn't take away all the pain but really helps with the bone snapping muscle spasms that make you want to die...
I actually broke my big toe when I was sitting on the couch!shocked My leg snapped so hard it broke my toe when my foot hit a chair in front of me. And I was wearing a shoe!
I hope you try this med as it worked miraculously for me. Good Luck and let us know if you can find relief.

I don't know if this would help you, but the spasms I used to have would literally curl me
up in a ball. It would hit hard and heavy, usually lasting up to 3 hours. It didn't matter how
many darvacet and flexoril I took, it just wouldn't touch it. I finally went back to my wonder
guy in the herbal shop and got his advice. I started True Calm by NOW brand and it helped.
This is kind of an herbal prozac and works on nerve endings. I went back last week and told
him the muscle weakness is getting real bad and the burning of them was so horrible it was
hard to work. I am now on Beta-Alanine which is an amino acid and only take 1 tablet about
6 times a day (I do a lot of heavy work) and am amazed at how well this works for the
burning and weakness issues. For the fatigue we all seem to suffer, I started cinnamon capsules
about 3 weeks ago as I heard it helps with sugar stabilization and is a natural thermogenic.
I've dropped 5 more pounds and have a bunch more energy. Right now it's nearly 9 at nite
and I'm usually a zombie by now, but I'm still going. Good luck and check this stuff out.
I got tired of the drugs and have gone almost entirely herbal.

I also take Tramadol 50 mgs 2-3 times a day. It really helps my muscle spasms and pain, too. And no bad side effects. Also, hot bubble baths and a massage from my sweet hubby (who knows exactly where and how to massage) really helps me too.

Hope you find something that helps. I know how miserable it is.

I have bad muscle spasms in my arms and shoulders. I don't know whether the tramadol or the gabapentin keeps them away, but I'm sure glad one of them does.
Fibro, SVT, mild structural heart issues. Meds: 50mg tramadol + 1000mg acetaminophen, 100mg metoprolol, 300mg gabapentin 3x/day, 25 mg trazodone at bedtime for sleep issues.

Maybe you should check if your meds are not causing this. I know some meds can cause uncontrollable spasm. I had it happen to me. I do suffer from a lot of spasms also, but mine is better now. I started to take supplements of magnesium. It's really working.

I can't believe you said ears!!!! When I read that I jumped up and said Omg!!!!!
Yes me toooooooo. Ofcourse along with face pulling across cheeks and all.
But yea pullin inside years and I can even hear the thumping twitch like or a swoooosh sound when it pulls.

Crazy what happens to us.

One thing I did that seriously put me in a bad set back and now it's been one year.
October 2009 I decided since no doc can figure thisnout then let me workout and see what happens.
Well forget workout, I joined boot camp!
I didn't for three months. Innpakn and struggling. It was brutal and hit me so hard that I quit in march 2010 and still suffering

My spasms went nuts allnover. It's like I activated them beyond limit.

I am glad to hear you now have Tramadol. It took mine about a week to settle all of my spasms and that was three 50mg a day, so give it a chance and take enough of it. I would also suggest that you try not to start too many new things all at once as it can be hard to tell what is helping if you do that.

It is funny that you had ear spasms as well. It is just amazing to me what we have gone through. It is so hard to explain to others who have not lived it.

good luck to you.

I've got those spasms in my leg at the moment. Couldn't keep it still yesterday night. I also get these tremors and shakes at the most impossible times.
One of the many things we've got to get used to i guess?

Some posters may benefit from checking to see if any of their meds are causing the problem.  I get muscle spasms (clonus) from 10 mg Ambien, but it's tolerable at 5 mg, although doesn't work as well for sleep.
I also get clonic spasms from combining tramadol with other meds, like Flexeril, that put me into serotonin syndrome (google the description).  Although you could be getting these spasms without taking any meds at all, clonic muscle spasms are a symptom of serotonin syndrome.  It's worth checking at for interactions between the meds you are taking.
For me, it's often the amount of one med or another that's the problem, not just all or none.  I can take some of the drugs in low doses, others just not within 12 hours of taking tramadol.
I find most of my docs don't have any understanding of drug interactions and side effects, especially serotonin syndrome, although it's common.  They tend to blame the spasms on a condition, without bothering to look at the meds I am taking.   I've learned to look up new meds and try half doses to start.

I have spasms but not bad.
Happens any where in my body but it's only like one or two and then after a while it happens some place else.
It's been happening for a long time, before I started with different meds so I can't blame it on them.
May the sun shine on you and warm your heart.

I don't have spasms in my ears, but suddenly have them in the nose. Now how do you pull a muscle in your nose? LOL. It's been going on for like 3 days now. I feel like bewitched - as if I twitched my nose too much or something.
