I have no idea if I have fibromyalgia but for the past year and a half I have been having bizarre visual symptoms plus chronic pain and muscle twitching. It first started with costochondritis that I STILL have 1 1/2 years later. It flares up every other week or so. I can even hear the joint popping it's horrible. Anyway for the tingling... When this first started I also had tingling in my butt and girl parts are (lol sorry if that is TMI) and that would come and go. I really thought it was from anxiety because it seemed like it would tingle when I was the really anxious. Well then it went away for almost a year and now it's back. And now I have this one spot on my back right in the middle that keeps tingling on and off. And just tonight there started this place right along my hairline that keeps tingling and it hasn't stopped. Does this sound ok?! I'm really freaking out.

I told my rheumatologist about weird tingling & muscles spasms & she said that it's common with fibro & can happen anywhere on the body. Sigh. But if it gets worse and/or if it's causing you anxiety, call your doctor's office or get seen about it. I think there is something to be said about intuition. If you sense that this is WAY out of normal for you, don't ignore it.

My intuition is broke. lol I have major health anxiety and I think every twinge is a life threatening emergency. I just went to the ER the other week because I thought I had an abdominal aortic anyurism.. ugh :(

Tingling is pretty common with fibro. I had a lot of tingling in my feet and hands which progressed to include tingling in the "girl parts" like you said. That prompted my doc to put me on gabapentin. Now I just have occasional tingling in my feet when the pain is at its worst. Definitely check with your doc to make sure all is okay especially because you don't have a fibro diagnosis just to make sure it's nothing of real concern.
Fibro, SVT, mild structural heart issues. Meds: 50mg tramadol + 1000mg acetaminophen, 100mg metoprolol, 300mg gabapentin 3x/day, 25 mg trazodone at bedtime for sleep issues.
