well, considering I am always on here complaining and asking questions, I thought I might share something that I thought was adorable...
I have 2 children 14 and 17 both daughters. One is a freshman and one is a senior. My freshman is a musician, plays bass, guitar, and trumpet and takes voice. She is in marching band and concert band at the high school.
My freshman has had a crush on a boy since the beginning of 8th grade. I guess at that age a year long crush is like a 10 year marriage
well, yesterday the boy she has been head over heals for asked her to the homecoming dance. She is walking on feathers on pillows on air...I have never seen her so elated.
At that moment..for a brief second or two..I felt no pain..just shared in her excitement...it's moments like those with my children that get me out of bed or off the couch every day..
