Sorry to hear about
your sleep issues. I, as many others in here, can identify with that. It's so very painful to lay there and not be able to sleep then on top of that to suffer from lack of sleep the next day.
I've been where you're at. Try sleep supplements and see if those help you. Sleep meds did little for me and they caused side effects which made my situation even worse. As I've mentioned in other threads what works for me is Melatonin and L-Theanine. But just to add they don't always work well for me. Sometimes I have to take a good number of them to fall asleep or to stay asleep. I've come to accept that. But at least with these sleep supplements I can take more and I couldn't with sleeping pills.
Fibromyalgia, CFS, multiple chemical sensivity, herniated disks, spinal stenosis, osteoarthritis, ADD, sjorgens, sleep apnea. I am happy to say the only medication I take is ibuprofen at night to sleep along with my supplements for sleeping. I am on a regiment of different supplements, I eat very nutritiously, and ever since my injury years ago I have been doing my prescribed stretches x2 daily.
