My fibro feels pretty much under my control though it will always be difficult to live with.
The reason I say it's under my control is I feel like I'm in charge for the most part. If I eat something fatty or eat sugar or caffiene, or if I forget to take my supps, or if I don't have the time to do my stretches, or if I experience a lot of stress that day, or if I sit around too much, I'll suffer for it. If I overdo I'll suffer for it.
And when a weather change comes along and makes the soreness worse I just take it in stride and know I'll feel somewhat better when it passes. Then there's always my chiropractor, I'm glad he'll always be there to give me adjustments when they're needed.
Yes, you might say I live in a bubble. But for me I'd rather live in a bubble then suffer by not being mindful of what I'm doing.
Good luck to you.
Fibromyalgia, CFS, multiple chemical sensivity, herniated disks, spinal stenosis, osteoarthritis, ADD, sjorgens, sleep apnea. I am happy to say the only medication I take is ibuprofen at night to sleep along with my supplements for sleeping. I am on a regiment of different supplements, I eat very nutritiously, and ever since my injury years ago I have been doing my prescribed stretches x2 daily.
