I've been having double vision for about 3 months but it only happened in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep and would try to watch tv eyes   Then I read CHANGES IN VISUAL ACUITY- impaired function of the smooth muscle used for focus as well as skeletal muscles for tracking-on the forum, and coincidentally started having double vision during the day. I called my ophthalmologist and she verified that fibro can cause visual changes and in my case, my eyes are pointing in different directions. The Dr. said that it could definitely be fibro acting up but she has also ordered blood work to rule out myasthenia gravis. My point to this post is to point out that we just can't assume our symptoms are fibromyalgia. Fibro mimics so many other conditions. I'll let you know how this goes, and as always, thanks for listening. Take Care, Anne

Excellent advice, Ann!  You should always be checked out with things like what you are experiencing.  I don't fool around with my vision at all.  I hope there is nothing serious going on.  Maybe you need some corrective lenses to help you, too.  Please let us know what you find out, okay?  We really do care about you.
Also, if anyone ever has new symptoms that are really concerning them, always get checked out first.  I did this when the heart palpitations started for me.  It's fibro causing them but I also have the peace of mind knowing this because I was checked out.  Remember...not everything is caused by fibro.

I had vision issues yesterday. I couldnt focus and what i could see looked like someone was pouring water over my eyes. It lasted about 20 min and I ended up having a panic attack because of it. I have a Dr. appt today so im definately going to mention it. I've never had that happen before, it was pretty scary!
