First of all, I would like yo tell you Welcome & no, your not crazy or a hypochondriac! We've all felt that way at times. Our society doesn't do well w these types of problems! Sadly, we are often dismissed partly bc we do not complain loud enough (keep telling your Dr even if u have to complain everyday!) & bc if u cant "see" it they assume its not there. It'll be well worth it once u have a diagnosis (dx) & it will come.
I too was young (33) when it hit me (like a ton of lead bricks) but it took 3 yrs for a dx. Yours should be easier if u keep on your Dr. I was embarrassed bc I'm a pharmacist & didn't have time to be sick! I had to help sick ppl...not be one! Nonetheless my last preg triggered it.
Did they do an ANA blood test? Any other tests? C-reactive protein test? Often these can change.
Even tho I have both dx of lupus & Fibro, it wasn't always that way & these things do require time! Ask for a referral to a Rheumatologist immediately & tell them you are in dire pain.
Ask your Dr to help u & give u something for pain - tell them its unbearable! Also, since u said u were depressed (who wouldn't be in pain!)..ask @ antidepressants. I takevCymbalta & it does help alot (just personal advice - not professional advice!)
I've been where u are..where ever lil thing hurt - brushing my hair, hugs, small things that shouldn't & I also noticed noise really got.to me! I could no longer listen to football games ontv - forget going to one! It was hard bc I had 2 babies (my last preg triggered this) & they needed me! My husb was mad all the time! (Like u want to feel like u have been run over by a semi!)
Please don't give up scmarks79 - u are not alone!
