As most of you know, I've been going through a really hard time because of my ruptured disc, sciatica, and just awful pain, for over 3 weeks now. I've had some relief today because I'm letting myself have a whole Vicodin every 4 hours. My doctor would rather I didn't, and I won't forever, but I NEED a break from the intensity.
Tomorrow I'll see another surgeon and we'll see what we'll see.
But the great thing is, this afternoon, 2 extremely kind and generous friends from church came over and cleaned for me! I was a bit embarassed - my house is SO dirty and messy (always) but especially now when I haven't been able to do anything for so long. (Hubby tries, but not all that hard ...but then he works full-time, so it's understandable.) Well, they vacuumed, scrubbed, dusted and polished. One brought us supper too, for the 2nd time. It really lifted my spirits!! Some people are so nice...and it's important to remember that during dark times.
