Hi, Joeymart, and welcome! I have two suggestions. Don't go to that chiropractor. I went to a chiropractor and they hurt me, too. The second suggestion is to see a rheumatologist. Yes, we have back pain but I was having such intense back pain and leg pain that I went to a rheumy. I not only have fibro but also a forum of rheumatoid arthritis in my entire spine. You do need to find out what you are dealing with so you will be given the appropriate medications.
I use ibuprofen with food, extra strength Tylenol, malic acid/magnesium supplement, vitamin D3, and an alternative pain medication called Curamin. These help keep my pain and fatigue under control. I'm not pain-free...most of us don't achieve that...but I can still have a full and enjoyable life in spite of it.
As others have said, please read Fibro 101...the second thread on the forum. There are links to good info and you will learn a lot there.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. Don't hesitate to ask questions because we are here to help you. Hope to hear more from you soon.
