Thanks for the replies! I'm already finding the input very helpful. I believe each of us may come at this from a different viewpoint, depending upon our current occupation, or where we would 'like' to be as far as employment. Schooling is a great idea, too.
ikers4: You raise such a good point about
feeling bad about
taking a leave of abscence. I am in awe that some of you with fibro are able to work outside the home at all. I think my frustration comes from knowing that occasionally (really, rarely), I would be just fine in a job outside the home. But more often than not, I wouldn't be up to speed, and would have to rely on others to carry the load. That's why I really feel the need to work totally from home (as well as not being able to drive long distances, and very few opportunities near home).
Also, I suspect there are others like me who can neither sit nor stand for long periods. My S-I-L has MS, and the very same issue.
