my cheeks are sensitive on the insides and i have a strong metallic taste.

To be fair I stopped antibiotics a few weeks ago, but I wondered if anyone suffers fron moutH PAIN

I've had a metallic taste in my mouth that was terrible in the past. I wanted to keep rinsing and brushing and chewing gum and I could NOT get rid of the taste.

I also have a history of lichen planus outbreaks in my mouth. They are sores like canker sores, very painful, that will be on the insides of both cheeks and on my tongue. I even had them on the roof of my mouth once.

So, I think mouth problems are common for us.

I have to be VERY careful of what I use to brush my teeth. I can only use Jason sensitive mouth gel from Whole foods and there are a lot of things I can't eat. Microwave popcorn will put me into a lichen planus flare like nothing else, which will take weeks to recover from. Sometimes spicy foods aggravate mouth conditions too.

Can you trace your problems back to something new you might have eaten?

I use to get a metallic taste in my mouth. I had a elderly woman as a neighbor she told me you are starting with gall problems, she was right I ended up about 2 years later having surgery after having 2 major attacks. My mouth feels sore at times also and so does my tongue get that burning feeling but nothing really bad.

I get a weird feeling in my mouth sometimes. It's kind of like all my taste buds are swollen and extra sensitive. It makes me not want to eat.
As far as actual taste, nothing tastes right when my mouth feels like that. It all feels like I just burned my tongue. I haven't notice anything in particular causing it.

I have had this problem off and on for the last few months. this latest flare up happened after a dentst cleaning appointment, at which time she said my mouth looked fine. Super sensitivity yet in another part of my body.
 This is so frustrating.
my partner just went through a gruelling cancer treatment for 3 months.
I am assuming my body is stressing out.
I sometimes do so much when I am feeling well. Then I pay for it.
How can you keep your body in balance??
