I understand too.
The church choir I'm in goes to a festival every year in a neighboring town. I went twice, and although it was very enjoyable, I've decided it's just too much stress on my body. When I try to explain this to people, they pretty much just blink. "But - - there's a break between the rehearsal and the performance - - and you wouldn't have to drive."
I get worn out from a regular Sunday performance!
I really hope you'll have an upswing as far as feeling better. It would be great if you could go - but it is a hard call.
