It's great that you're trying so hard to help your girlfriend...but I agree with the others who said she probably needs some type of counseling. It sounds like her problems are too much for you to handle all by yourself.
I take Norco myself, since I had a ruptured disc and then surgery, and it can be a good med for some people, if it's used the right way. But there is a lot of potential for abuse there. Your descript
ion of her "taking any pills she can get her hands on" would be a huge worry.
What do you think of her doctor? It's so important to have one who will really take hold and care and take the time to assess and then treat her.
Do you think you could get her to come to HealingWell herself? In addition to Fibro, there are forums here for Depression, Anxiety, and a lot of other conditions. Everyone is very supportive, and she might click with people on one of these forums, or several of them.
