Congratulations on your pregnancy, Betty! How exciting.
I had 3 babies, and was developing Fibro all throughout that time (though I wasn't diagnosed, and hadn't even heard of Fibro, until my youngest was 2.) So for years, I just thought I must be blowing my pain and other symptoms out of proportion...just had to keep plowing ahead and being strong...a common story. I wish I had known - I would have done things a lot smarter, listened to my body more, etc.
I was always very active. When I was 8 1/2 months pregnant with my 2nd, I was up on a desk, painting my 1st's room. My husband walked in and saw me sway and almost fall, and said, "Are you nuts??!" Quite a wake-up call - I had been so determined to get our son's room done that I hadn't realized how stupid that was!
The 3rd time was much harder all the way around - constant nausea and constipation fort 3 months - and after my daughter was born, I could only lift her until she started moving around. Then she'd have to crawl into my lap. It broke my heart, but it doesn't seem to have scarred her any :) She was always a cuddlebug. She didn't get taken to the park as much as the others, either, due to my body problems. But again, she says she had a great childhood.
You do what you can, then try to let it go....your love comes through, and your baby will feel it.
