While what we consume is certainly important (and most doctors are notoriously lacking in nutritional knowledge), a dietary connection to Fibro hasn't been proven (and even if we wanted to, not all of us CAN eat the same way. I can't, for example. I have to exist largely on starches because that's what my digestive system dictates.)
We should do our best, and try to eat well, but to say, "for Fibro, there are THE foods to eat and THE foods to stay away from," is, to my mind, too simplistic. It really does vary from person to person.
I'm not saying we should jump to pills without watching what we eat first, though....that's just good sense. I do get your point. But for a lot of us, both are necessary.
