I just finished reading The Highly Sensitive Person's Survival Guide which was a book topic recommended by Luvminus in a previous post. Thanks so much Luv! My local library did have the book.
According to the author, Dr. Ted Zeff, fifteen per cent of the population is highly sensitive and he is one of them.
This book fits me to a tee. We can be born with the tendency to be highly sensitive and with a difficult upbringing and or with difficult circumstances we have faced during our lifetime this can contribute to our becoming more and more sensitive. It makes a lot of sense. And it can be helped.
Here is a link to the questionairre to check whether you might be a highly sensitive person:
I'd be interested to know what you think. Thanks.
