Topamax. I guess I didn't understand what you were saying. I thought they gave you Topamax for fibro.
Do keep searching for the cause or causes of your symptoms. Fibro isn't considered an autoimmune problem and it's also not a progressive illness. I was getting progressively worse last year so I headed to a rheumatologist to see what could be happening. I discovered that I had ankylosing spondylitis that was causing me the excessive and progressive symptoms. I was put on medication and am so much better.
I was blaming fibro at first, thought I was having very long flares, but then it kept getting worse and worse. There are answers out there for you and I do hope you will find them soon.
I have had fibro for 26 years and still am learning new things because doctors are learning new things...thank goodness! I do think they are close to figuring out this puzzling illness. What a day of celebration that will be!
