I did do some research last night and read that the breast, stomach, lungs and large intestine are the most frequent organs tp produce cutaneous lesions. It is more common for lung cancer to metastasize to the lung, liver or brain.
The cat scan I had was of my upper body. Lung Adenocarcinoma is a cancer that can easily spread at stage 1 and go undetected. The lesion is half the size of a pencil eraser. My dermatologist will do the biopsy if needed. The procedure will be easier than my lobectomy :)
I've only told my hubby and my fibro family. So sorry for always dumping on all of you. I will try to focus on the positive and take it one day at a time...it has worked in the past, so I'm counting for it to help again!
Thank You for the caring support!
PS....Because I'm immunosuppressed from the MTX, it is better to wait to skip a couple weekly rounds to build up some immunity in case a biopsy or surgery is needed.
