This is a tough one but you have been more than accommodating for her. It is, after all, her responsibility to take care of things like this in her life. YOU have to remember the important things that need to be done for your job. If you didn't do these, you wouldn't have a job. You have meetings, tests, then your life outside of your job, shopping, cleaning, cooking, etc. Then there are doctor appointments, too, and you suffer from chronic illnesses but accept the responsibility of your life. We all have to do that.
Because we have chronic illnesses we need to plan ahead more and she needs to learn this lesson. The world does not stop because we are ill. We, instead need to learn how to live life in this world with our illnesses. You shouldn't feel that badly. This was her responsibility...not yours. She is not a small child. It's a hard lesson to learn but the sooner she learns this the better her life will be.

God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
