I've realized that I am never really pain free. The longer I've lived with it the more accustomed I am to it...I'm able to tolerate it. Everyday pain is like background noise...it is expected to be there. Flare pain has much more intensity and is more difficult to ignore but having had many flares, I can tolerate it because there is no other choice. Pain is still pain, it hurts but maybe we build up some tolerance.
