Ok so I got a letter in the mail stating that I had to have a medical exam by state MD? I get there and wait over two hours to be seen. I was in pain and feeling miserable. I did not take painkiller because I did not want to drive feeling high. I took test results and CD's with me of different x-rays, MRI's etc...
The whole thing lasted maybe 15 minutes. The doctor was a moron. He did not even look at the CD's, gave me a basic exam, and practically dismissed my Fibro.
I know I will most likely get a denial letter then it will be time to call the attorney!
Anybody else have this experience?

Oh, yeah.
My SSD doctor didn't believe you could have both fibro and Lupus when it is well documented that you can. I could do the range of movement things he wanted me to do but I hurt something terrible when I left him.

Expect the letter within 2 weeks. Go get a lawyer as soon as it comes to file your appeal. Make note who doesn't send in a report to SSD and get your lawyer to give you paperwork to give to them.

I've done the appeal letter through my lawyer and I'm waiting for an answer now.

I am so sorry your having to go through this. I never had to go see any Dr's. I do know what your talking about because long time ago I was sent to see a workmanship comp Dr. It was just as you described. After leaving, it makes you feel very angry. I was blessed to not need a lawyer or see Dr's. Find you a lawyer!
