Fellow Fibromites - How do your flare ups usually start?
I've been dealing with this for 7 months now, and for the most part mine have been something like 1) have a "good day" (meaning pain less than ~6), 2)"overdo" things trying to take advantage of that rare sense of "I can get a few things done", 3) the next morning I'm horribly stiff, in terrible pain (8-9), shaking like crazy, and so tired I can barely move but I can't sleep because I'm in too much pain, 4) that lasts about 2-3 days and gradually diminishes, then 5) have another "good day" and start the cycle over again.
But I've also had a couple instances where the flare up starts in the evening on that "good day". I'll be feeling okay, then over the course of ~ 30 mins be in the midst of a horrible flare up. I had one of those start last night. The pain has subsided a little, but I'm still shaking so bad that I can barely type (or do anything else with my hands!). Thank God for spellcheck!
Are both those cases typical/normal?
Have a blessed day!
