I was concerned I might not make it through my summer job. Its gets intense! Working from 8:30 to 5:30 in another city and hour and half away, writing, directing a play and managing 31+ 4 and 5 year olds and having to coach to them to perform and be coherent on stage. I want it to be good and cute and professional! Keeping all those personalities happy.. and the parents happy... and my boss happy.. EXHAUSTING!! But I have been able to do it and have not quit in spite of the rocky start and insomnia/sleepless nights at the beginning. I was scared I might tire out at the beginning.. I'd give all the energy I had from 8:30 and then at about 3:00 pm my body and mind would tire out and I'd really have nothing left to give, but I pushed through and adjusted and everyone had a good time. Now my schedule is lighter for the rest of the summer and I work 12:30 - 5:30 with 3 hour driving time added to that for getting to and from work and I can relax some now.
I'm the type of person that gives 150% in a job.. Having FM doesn't stop that. I can pace myself but I'm still a 150% type person.
I'm just happy that I made it.. just have to keep on keepin on. I have to work.. I just have to work and keep a good reputation for as long as I can.
