I get bouts of extreme fatigue, here and there. It helps somewhat to drink more water/fluids, and I try to get a short nap in during the late morning or early afternoon, without sleeping too long and messing up the next night's sleep.
If I happen to be super tired just after I get up in the morning, I start my day either going back to bed a little longer, or working on projects where I can mostly sit. I find if I overdo it, I'm sunk!
Of course, fatigue can sometimes be related to low blood, which your doctor would be likely to check.
Stress can sometimes lead to fatigue, too. I think we just have to do the best we can and, as the saying says, "stay calm and carry on" (again, not overdoing).
Hope this helps a bit. Feel better, and I hope your appointment goes well. :)
Edited to add: I was also going to mention that when I'm really tired, I try to keep moving, or at least, keep busy. Even though I don't have the ability at those times to really accomplish much, I find that if I go quickly from one little job to the next, some things do get done. That sure makes me feel better at the end of the day!
I used to stop frequently and take breaks, but I've found that if I keep going, even at a slow pace, things do get accomplished.
